North Dakota State OT Billy Turner struggled with speed of opposing players at the Senior Bowl practices Tuesday, Jan. 21, but reportedly rebounded nicely Wednesday, Jan. 22. He worked predominately at right guard, and also saw time at right tackle.

Utah CB Keith McGill (cramps) appeared to be fighting through cramping issues during practice at the Senior Bowl Wednesday, Jan. 22. There were some in the stands who wondered aloud about McGill’s toughness, although McGill was able to fight through the pain and return to action.

Lindenwood CB Pierre Desir is determined to prove size, speed and awareness will translate to the next level after being a dominant player at the Division II level. He was a late invite to the Senior Bowl after a strong performance in the East-West Shrine game, and he is now projected anywhere from the second to third round depending on his speed at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Auburn CB Chris Davis has flashed athleticism and versatility this week at the Senior Bowl, as he works to improve his draft stock. Most analysts have him rated as a fourth-round target for the 2014 NFL Draft. ‘It’s a good experience being here. I’m trying to catch some eyes of some scouts here. It’s a good opportunity to do that.,’ Davis said Wednesday, Jan. 22.
