The Green Bay Packers are open to re-signing free-agent DE Johnny Jolly (neck). He is rehabbing from neck surgery, and was recently cleared for more extensive workouts. He might be ready in time for training camp if his surgery mends well and X-rays show there is no unusual risk of his spinal cord being damaged.

Cardinals | Plan to exercise option on Patrick Peterson

The Arizona Cardinals plan to discuss a contract extension for CB Patrick Peterson this offseason, but they are under no time constraints in reaching an agreement. The team plans to exercise an option before then to keep Peterson under contract through 2015. The deadline for using that option is May 3.

As Eric Ebron solidifies status, Kareem Martin boosts stock

Representatives from 30 NFL teams — including offensive line coaches from the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars, tight end coaches from the Cincinnati Benagls, Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers, and a defensive line coach from the Philadelphia Eagles — were on hand for North Carolina’s pro day on Tuesday.
