Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler will not be benched, according to head coach Bill O’Brien, who said he hasn’t even considered benching the quarterback.

Footballguys View: The Texans are spending $18 million a year on Osweiler. There’s no way they bench him this season. He doesn’t play well against good defenses, but Osweiler can thrive against weaker opponents. The next three defenses for the Texans (Lions, Jaguars, Raiders) are all teams Osweiler can look good against.

Jacksonville Jaguars DT Roy Miller (Achilles’) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Oct. 25. DT Richard Ash was signed to the active roster from the practice squad, while DT Louis Nix (Giants) was signed to the practice squad.
