The San Francisco 49ers selected Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde with the 57th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: It could be a year or two to before Hyde can contribute and it’s hard to say how much he really will. While Hyde is a bruising back who has had some off the field issues and struggles at times with ball security. Hyde also doesn’t break as many tackles as you’d expect. We’ll see if he can improve on that.
