San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick will play in the preseason finale, and QB Blaine Gabbert will sit out, according to head coach Chip Kelly.

Footballguys View: Kaepernick has an opportunity to showcase what talent he has at this point in his career. He’s fallen behind Gabbert in the competition at QB, mainly because Kaepernick spent most of the offseason recovering from three different surgeries. We’ll see if he can be a difference maker in this game.
