The San Francisco 49ers could show interest in Clemson OG Brandon Thomas (knee) during the 2014 NFL Draft even though he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament last week. The team drafted DE Cornellius Carradine and RB Marcus Lattimore last season even though they missed the 2013 season because of knee injuries.

Footballguys View: The 49ers also selected RB Ricky Watters in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft and he missed his rookie season due to a broken leg suffered at Notre Dame. Thomas will certainly be on many team’s radar, even after this injury.
