49ers | Expected to let Michael Crabtree hit FA

The San Francisco 49ers are expected to let WR Michael Crabtree become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.

Footballguys View: Wow. That may not be what Colin Kaepernick wanted when he signed his new contract with the team last week. Simply put, his game is not the same when Crabtree is not on the field. Kaepernick completed 60.5 percent of his passes in the pocket last season, a steep regression from his 1st year as a starter in 2012 (65.7 percent). Crabtree missed 11 games last year, and that really impacted Kaepernick’s stats.
