San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is hopeful for a solution to the misunderstanding which led to FS Tarell Brown losing out on $2 million for not training at the team’s facility this offseason. ‘We’ve very motivated to do that because he deserves it,’ Harbaugh said Sunday, July 28. ‘I don’t want to see him playing for the minimum when he’s a starting, top-end player.’ Brown learned he would lose the $2 million for working out in Texas instead, and he fired his agent as a result. As it stands, he would make $925,000 this season, the final year of his contract. Harbaugh hinted the team could sign Brown to an extension, potentially helping to recoup some of that money.
