San Francisco 49ers PK Phil Dawson extended his franchise-record streak to 24 made field field goals in Week 15, and head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday, Dec. 16, he is hopeful Dawson will return in 2014. ‘Let me do that right now, ‘Phil, stay beyond this season’,’ Harbaugh said when asked by reporters. ‘I’ve been remiss in asking him to do that. Let me officially ask him to stay beyond this season. Absolutely, I’m glad you brought it up, 24 straight field goals. He has been a top-notch guy, too, on the team from the day he got here. Pay the man.’
