San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo is working to recover from the ACL tear that cut his 2018 season short, and his progress has impressed head coach Kyle Shanahan. ‘He looks good, I’m not allowed to be working with him right now, but I was in the office a couple of days ago, I was stalking him while watching him out my window,’ Shanahan said Friday, Feb. 1, during an interview with San Francisco radio station KNBR. ‘He actually surprised me, he was running around, throwing, doing some stuff out of the pocket. I even had to call our trainer and ask ‘should he be moving that much?’ and he said he should be. It’s cool to see.’
