San Francisco 49ers RB Marcus Lattimore (knee) has been progressing on a daily basis. Lattimore recently said he feels like he’s gaining back his field vision, but admitted that he’ll need to take some hits and get back up before he’s ready to play again. Lattimore added that his ultimate goal is to be the team’s starting running back, though he admits taking over Frank Gore’s job is ‘the hardest thing in the world.’ Head coach Jim Harbaugh said Lattimore is becoming more confident and adding strength, ‘which is translating into more burst, quicker turnover with his leg cycle.’
