San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is expected to name his starting quarterback for Week 13 no later than Wednesday, Nov. 29. At the moment, Shanahan does not know if incumbent C.J. Beathard (knee, hip) will be able to practice Wednesday and indicated whomever he chooses between Beathard and Jimmy Garoppolo would need to take all the first-team practice snaps leading up to their game with the Chicago Bears.
