San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said Tuesday, July 23, that the team was ‘absolutely’ aware of the recent drunken-driving arrest of CB Eric Wright, and the reason the trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was rescinded was only because of health. ‘The Bucs were very forthcoming with the information, and we definitely knew what his status was,’ Baalke said. ‘Our medical staff wasn’t convinced he was ready to be put on the field, so we didn’t pass him.’
