Chicago Bears TE Trey Burton (hernia) underwent surgery for a sports hernia during the offseason, but head coach Matt Nagy still ‘feels good’ about Burton’s chances of being ready for the start of training camp, according to ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson.
Footballguys View: In his first season with the Bears in 2018, Burton finished as the No. 6 fantasy tight end in standard-scoring formats. He might be hard pressed to duplicate that production this year, especially with fellow TE Adam Shaheen healthy. Burton’s timeline in recovery always had him back for training camp, so he seems to be on track.
