Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman said QB Jimmy Clausen was brought in to create competition for QBs David Fales and Jordan Palmer and was not necessarily an indication that he is dissatisfied with either of them. ‘I told (Palmer) we were going to bring in another quarterback who had some experience, and that we were going to continue to keep the competition open on a daily basis,’ Trestman said. The Bears will re-evaluate the quarterback situation at the end of OTAs.
