Chicago Bears OG Kyle Long restructured his contract Tuesday, Feb. 26, opening up salary-cap space for the Bears. Terms of restructured deal were not disclosed. Long signed a four-year, $40 million extension in 2016 and was scheduled to cost $8.5 million against the 2019 salary cap. He has battled injuries over the last three seasons, playing in only 25 games, and missed nine in 2018, but the Bears remain confident in his abilities. Long tweeted ‘Bear for Life.’
