Chicago Bears LB Leonard Floyd, the team’s first-round draft pick, signed a four-year deal Friday, May 27, which includes a fifth-year option. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys View: Floyd is set to be a pass-rushing force for the Bears ASAP. He can get around the edge with a good bend and burst. Floyd has an array of pass-rushing moves to get after the quarterback. However, he needs to put on a ton of weight as he’s thin and may not be able to take the pounding of an every-down player in the NFL.
