The Chicago Bears met with free-agent QB Josh Freeman (Vikings) Monday, April 7.

Footballguys View: Freeman got a fresh start with the Vikings last year, but he failed to impress. If added to the Bears, Freeman would compete for the backup job behind Jay Cutler. The Bears are looking for quarterback depth after losing Josh McCown to the Buccaneers in free agency.
