Updating a previous report, surgery has not been ruled out for Chicago Bears for WR Cameron Meredith (thumb) after he suffered ligament damage in one of his thumbs during OTAs on Thursday, June 1.

Footballguys View: While he is expected to miss six to eight weeks, Meredith injury is not believed to be serious ‘in the big picture,’ according to the Chicago Tribune’s Dan Wiederer. We should see Meredith back in action sometime during the preseason.
