Chicago Bears WR Brandon Marshall said he believes QB Jay Cutler (groin) has a chance to play Week 9 because he is working hard in his rehab. ‘I’m expecting him to be on the field against Green Bay,’ Marshall said. ‘I’m not ruling out Green Bay. I heard [head coach Marc Trestman] talking about doctors, their diagnoses and talking all that big talk. But we need to get Jay out there for Green Bay.’
Footballguys View: The Bears will find out just how desperate they are to have Cutler back when Josh “BIG TIME” McCown steps in against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. The Bears are still in contention for a playoff spot so if they drop this game, the team may push Cutler to return sooner than later.
