Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks after tearing ligaments in his ankle during a practice at the University of Dayton’s Welcome Stadium as part of the NFL’s 100th-anniversary celebration. He isn’t expected to be ready for the regular-season opener at the Seattle Seahawks.
Footballguys View: Green will fall out of the third round and maybe farther, a lot farther. Not only will this likely cost him games, but who knows how many games it will take to get to full speed, and the risk of re-injury. The sixth round sounds about right for where his ADP will level off.
