The Cincinnati Bengals signed CB Lavelle Westbrooks Thursday, May 22. Per league rules, the length of the contract is four years. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Wesbrooks is a seventh round pick and has a ton of bodies to climb over before he gets a secure roster spot. A small-school prospect who played some safety as well as corner, Westbrooks doesn’t quite have the speed to hang at corner so he might make the shift to safety permanently. He’s a very good tackler, so he might stick as a special teams player to start out.
