Bengals | Tyler Boyd expected to help offense

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd performed well during offseason workouts and will help in the passing game, but wide receivers coach James Urban wants to see how Boyd does during training camp before making him the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver.

Footballguys View: The Bengals need some help at the WR position after losing both Mohamed Sanu (Falcons) and Marvin Jones (Lions) in free agency. Boyd was the team’s second-round pick this year out of PITT. During his college career, Boyd was a sure-handed receiver who was used to a large workload. Over each of the last three years, Boyd had been targeted 124 times or more. We’ll see if he can earn the starting job opposite A.J. Green at some point this year.
