Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said TE Lee Smith (undisclosed) should be ready for training camp after suffering an undisclosed injury in the weight room this offseason. Smith did not participate in organized team activities Wednesday, May 29, and was wearing a walking boot.
Our View: Smith is nothing more than a blocking TE and is currently buried on the depth chart. He could have a bigger role if Scott Chandler suffers a setback from his knee injury. Both TEs should be ready for the start of training camp.
