Bills | Six draft picks sign contracts

Buffalo Bills second-round draft choice OT Cody Ford, third-round draft choice RB Devin Singletary, fifth-round draft choice LB Vosean Joseph, sixth-round draft choice S Jaquan Johnson, seventh-round draft choice DE Darryl Johnson Jr. and seventh-round draft choice TE Tommy Sweeney signed four-year contracts with the Bills Thursday, May 9. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Singletary will likely be a backup and not touching the ball often without injuries to Frank Gore or LeSean McCoy, but he could be the #1 back in 2020. Ford should be an instant starter and it’s encouraging that he said he wanted Buffalo to draft him because of new offensive line coach Bobby Johnson, who was previously an assistant for Indianapolis during their dramatic offensive line turnaround last year. He was reportedly a consideration for Cincinnati at #11, but ended up falling to Buffalo at #38.
