Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could realistically land with the Denver Broncos, who have the second-most salary cap space in football.
Footballguys View: The Broncos are going to make a strong push for Rodgers if/when the Packers decide they won’t be able to patch things up between the two sides. After June 1st, the salary cap hit for trading away Rodgers is lowered dramatically so that’s a target date for a team like the Broncos to try to make a move. With the Broncos defense and weapons on offense, they could be a Super Bowl contender if they’re able to pull off a deal for Rodgers.
