Broncos | Montee Ball viewed as veteran among RB group

Denver Broncos RB Montee Ball, who leads the rest of the team’s rushers with 559 career rushing yards from his rookie season, is looked at as a veteran on the staff, according to head coach John Fox. Despite his lack of experience, Ball is penciled in as the starting running back this year. The coaching staff is also very confident in what they have in Ball’s young backups in RBs Ronnie Hillman, C.J. Anderson and Jerodis Williams. RB Brennan Clay’s speed and quick learning of the playbook has him alongside Anderson for third-string repetitions.
