Denver Broncos FS Rahim Moore (leg) has bounced back incredibly strong after having surgery on his leg for acute compartment syndrome at the end of last season. Compartment syndrome is a rare condition when pressure builds to extreme levels in muscles and swelling occurs, trapping excessive pressure in the muscles. Moore and the team’s head trainer worked extensively on single-leg strengthening after his surgery, and now Moore says that both of his legs are stronger than they ever were. Moore did sand workouts and ran hills in the offseason when he approached football shape and even put on roughly seven pounds of muscle. The odds of compartment syndrome recurring are less than 15 percent.
