Denver Broncos TE Virgil Green said he wants to prove in training camp that he can be an every-down tight end. It was reported earlier that Green could have a bigger role in 2016.
Footballguys View: Green is a better receiver than his career-high 12 receptions in 2016 shows. He was a reliable receiver for Colin Kaepernick in college at Nevada, but the Broncos have turned him into a strong blocking TE instead. Now, Green may be the lead TE for the Broncos in 2016 with only second-year TE Jeff Heuerman as his main competition. From a fantasy lens, we could see Green as a low-end TE2 if his production matches what Owen Daniels was able to get last year.
