Denver Broncos impending free-agent LB Von Miller has had good contract talks with the team, but barring a last-minute agreement, the Broncos are expected to place the exclusive franchise tag on him before the deadline Tuesday, March 1. The tag would guarantee Miller a salary of $14.04 million for the 2016 season if a long-term deal isn’t reached by July 15. Miller wouldn’t be allowed to negotiate with other teams under the exclusive tag.
