Denver Broncos general manager John Elway said LB Von Miller grew up a lot this past year while dealing with a six-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy and then suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in December. ‘He’s done a tremendous job of doing the right things and everything he’s supposed to be doing. So hopefully he can continue to do that, because we’d love Von to be back to the Von we know he can be,’ Elway said.
Footballguys View: We’ll see if Miller can get things back on track in 2014. He’s a talented pass-rusher, but his 2013 season was cut short by a six-game suspension. Miller returned in Week 7, but he was lost for the season when a Week 16 knee injury took him down. We’ll see if he can be ready for the start of the regular season.
