Browns | Corey Coleman’s WRs coach talks hamstring

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hamstring) is currently recovering from a strained hamstring — a problem that has plagued him back to his collegiate days at Baylor. Browns wide receivers coach Al Saunders said he is disappointed for Coleman since he cannot continue his on-field growth, but Saunders added he expects Coleman to return for training camp July 26, if he can improve the strength of the hamstring.

Footballguys View: Coleman had injury issues in his first year, and this particular one has been a long-standing issue. Every time he misses an OTA, camp day or anything else he is stymieing his development. Coleman has the ability but that won’t make a difference if he can’t stay on the field and off the trainer’s table. The uncertainty at quarterback doesn’t help his value either. In early drafts he is currently the 41st receiver off the boards, with an overall ADP of 106.
