The Cleveland Browns will interview New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels for their head coaching vacancy Saturday, Jan. 4.

Footballguys View: Oh that factory of sadness! Some coaches succeed in their second go-round, but McDaniels flamed out spectacularly in Denver. And you know if McDaniels gets hired on in Cleveland, the words “Tim Tebow” will follow (if not the quarterback). McDaniels has proven to be a decent coordinator, but whether he can shepherd a new quarterback (which Cleveland needs) and fix this offense is a much different thing.
