Browns | Robert Griffin not the starter yet

Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III has not officially been named the starting quarterback yet, and head coach Hue Jackson is not ready to name a starter at this point. ‘When the time is right, trust me, you guys will be the first to know,’ Jackson said. Jackson has seen improvements in Griffin, who he says in getting better every day, but added that the Browns need to make the right choice, not just the fast choice.

Footballguys View: To steal a line from Terrell Owens, it’s only a matter of time. Provided that he’s healthy and doesn’t implode in camp, we feel Griffin should be the starter. Josh McCown is going to push him for the top spot, and we may see rookie Cody Kessler develop into a starter for the Browns in the future.
