Browns | Scott Fujita’s appeal appears remote

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to rule any day on the three-game suspension appeal of Cleveland Browns LB Scott Fujita for his role in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal of 2009. Fujita has admitted to pledging money for big plays, such as interceptions, turnovers and sacks, but he denies he paid for injuries and would never be involved in such a program. However, it still appears remote that Fujita’s penalty will be lessened, and he stands to lose $645,000 as a result of the suspension.
