Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater said he was not interested in being drafted by the Cleveland Browns, even if there was a chance that could happen. ‘There was a chance, but I actually told my agent that’s not the place where I wanted to be. Throughout this entire process I felt comfortable with the Minnesota Vikings. Every visit that I had with the team, you know, there was a family environment and the players, great guys. A great group of guys. So I felt comfortable wanting to play here.’
Footballguys View: Sure, he says that now but if he was drafted by Cleveland it would be a different story. Bridgewater is a fine quarterback, and we love his fit in a Norv Turner system with the Vikings. He may begin his rookie season as a backup, but Bridgewater is smart and accurate. That will rise to the top in Minnesota in the near future.
