Buccaneers | Chris Godwin extension a top priority

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin is a player the team considers a top priority in terms of getting a contract extension done this offseason, according to comments made by head coach Bruce Arians.

Footballguys View: Godwin’s current deal runs through the 2020 season, but he’s only set to have a cap hit of $966k next year. With his 85 catches for 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns, Godwin has outperformed his contract. A third-round pick out of Penn State in the 2017 NFL draft, Godwin finally got his chance to shine and he did by putting up great numbers even though he missed the final two games with a hamstring injury.
