Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones drew raves from the coaching staff for how he played near the end of the 2019 season, and beat writer Mark Cook believes that he doesn’t ‘think there is any question at this point that (Jones) is the starting running back … unless he completely melts down in (training) camp – or gets injured.’

Footballguys View: Jones is at the top of the depth chart but there is still buzz about the Bucs adding another veteran running back to the mix. We’ll see if someone like Devonta Freeman ends up with the team and how any RB added would change the role for Jones.
