Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald putting off retirement

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald announced Wednesday, Feb. 1, that he is ‘definitely’ returning for a 14th season and play out the final year of his contract in 2017, according to ESPN’s Jim Trotter.

Footballguys View: This should help Cardinals fans breath a sigh of relief, as Carson Palmer seems likely to return if Fitzgerald is coming back. The Hall of Famer actually had his second highest catches total ever last year and his value is strong in PPR leagues with Michael Floyd no longer in Arizona and John Brown’s long-term health a question due to a sickle-cell condition.
