Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd won’t have a new deal right away, according to general manager Steve Keim. Floyd is entering the final year of his rookie deal.
Footballguys View: Floyd is getting about seven million dollars in the fifth-year option of his rookie deal. The free agent class this year is very weak and the cap is only going up, so a player of Floyd’s caliber would be smart to not accept an extension unless it is at least near the top contract handed out to a wide receiver in free agency this year.
