It’s believed that Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians will devote many resources to improving the team’s offensive line weaknesses, including the number of coaches that will work with the unit. Previous offensive line coach Russ Grimm under former head coach Ken Whisenhunt didn’t have an assistant to work with, and 10 or 12 offensive lineman would often be seen standing around during training camp. Grimm worked better with veteran linemen and worked mainly on pass protection, which didn’t help the younger linemen much with developing key techniques. Arians said there will be as many as three or four coaches working with the offensive linemen this year.
