Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers is taking a ‘year-by-year’ mentality to his playing future but believes he has a ‘handful’ of seasons left, according to comments he made during a recent interview with XTRA 1360 San Diego.
Footballguys View: Rivers is not done yet. He led the Chargers to the playoffs in 2018 and they’re firmly in a championship window. Rivers is in the final year of his contract in 2019 with a cap hit of $23 million with $7 million in dead money.
