The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly reached an agreement to trade QB Alex Smith to the Washington Redskins on Tuesday, Jan. 30. While the compensation the Chiefs will receive has yet to be released and any trade involving Smith can’t be completed until the first day of the new league year (3 p.m. on March 14), sources say the deal is in place and will proceed.
