New England Patriots RB Bishop Sankey was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs Tuesday, Nov. 1, according to agent Jason Bernstein. Terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys View: Sankey has been a bust in his pro career after the Titans made him a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft. He gives them some veteran depth with both Jamaal Charles (knee) and Spencer Ware (concussion) banged up. Charcandrick West now sits at the top of the depth chart. The Chiefs have other options besides Sankey if they want them. Darrin Reaves is on their practice squad and Knile Davis is now available after the Packers cut him.
