Free-agent WR Gehrig Dieter (Chiefs) signed an undisclosed contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, Feb. 11, after finishing the 2019-20 season on the practice squad.
Footballguys View: Dieter was signed as a priority free agent out of Alabama after the 2017 NFL draft. He was an over-aged prospect at Alabama and played at three different colleges (SMU, Bowling Green) before landing with the Crimson Tide. Dieter was a special teams player for Alabama, and that’s what he’s been for the Chiefs. We’ll monitor him, mainly because he’s on the Chiefs offense, but only in super crazy deep dynasty formats.
