Chiefs | Justin Houston may not start season

Kansas City Chiefs LB Justin Houston (knee) may not begin the regular season on the active roster, in the opinion of ESPN.com’s Adam Teicher.

Footballguys View: Zero surprise here. Houston should begin the season on the PUP list which would force him to miss the first six weeks of the regular season. After that point, the Chiefs would have three weeks to decide whether or not to activate Houston or put him on season-ending Injured Reserve. Houston is still recovering from surgery in February on his torn anterior cruciate ligament.
