Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne (knee) feels like he’s 100 percent healthy after recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee last season. His most recent visit with Dr. John Uribe showed no fluid in his surgically repaired knee. Wayne has been running routes at the team’s facility. “I feel like I have nothing to prove to anybody,” Wayne said. “I know what I can do. Guys in this locker room know what I can do. Now it’s time to show the first-timers who have not seen me play, the ones that keep calling me Mr. Wayne, ones that say they played with me on ‘Madden.’ There’s no reason why I shouldn’t be ready (for training camp) in July.”
Footballguys View: We’re excited to see Wayne come back but know he will see some targets go TY Hilton and Hakeem Nicks’ way. We have Wayne as a WR3 right now pending seeing him in action again.
