Colts | Surgery not likely for Andrew Luck

Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) will miss a couple of training-camp practices as he deals with a nagging calf strain, but Luck said Tuesday, July 30, that surgery hasn’t been discussed. ‘The nature of it is a calf strain,’ Luck said. ‘I say lower leg because I feel pain in my ankle area. I’ve had images and X-rays and everything, and my Achilles is not at extra risk. There (are) no tears or swelling or anything that’s indicated.’
