Dallas Cowboys QB Brandon Weeden is taking first-team repetitions in the offense at minicamp Tuesday, June 17, with QB Tony Romo (back) recovering from offseason back surgery and QB Kyle Orton absent while contemplating retirement. Weeden is being given the chance to learn the team’s offense, and quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson said the team is comfortable with Weeden serving as the backup. Head coach Jason Garrett has been very impressed with Weeden this offseason.
