Jori Epstein of the Dallas Morning News reports that Cowboys WR Cole Beasley doesn’t believe second-year QB Dak Prescott will suffer a sophomore slump in 2017. “He’s one of the hardest-working guys I’ve seen at the quarterback position in a long time in a lot of years playing,” Beasley said. “His approach and his mindset will control that. … He’s the type of guy who’s going to grind no matter and continue to get better no matter how good he gets.”
Footballguys View: His situation is still about as good as you can ask for, with an elite line, a tremendous second year running back and a great receiving corps. We think he may see a bit of a slump, but certainly not a large one, and he’s projecting an ADP of 76 overall and the tenth quarterback taken off the board.
